Deposit Trading Collateral via connectIPS on TMS
TMS Menu -> Fund Management -> Collateral Management -> Load Collateral. 1:4 trading limit allocated instantly for intraday/delivery trades.
Execute Limit Orders during NEPSE Trading Hours (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Trading runs Sunday through Thursday. Check Top 5 Bid/Ask Market Depth, specify Limit Price, and place buy/sell orders. Avoid market orders during high volatility.
Calculate Weighted Average Cost (WACC) & Holding Period in MeroShare
When selling shares: MeroShare -> My Purchase Source -> Select scrip -> Calculate WACC -> Update Holding Period (determines Short-Term 7.5% vs Long-Term 5% Capital Gains Tax).

MeroShare -> My EDIS -> Transfer Shares -> Confirm with Transaction PIN. Failure to complete EDIS by 5:00 PM on T+1/T+2 results in 20% Close-Out Penalty under SEBON rules!

Investor Discipline Rule: Never buy a stock solely because of social media hype, Viber/Telegram pump channels, or rumors. Review audited quarterly financial reports (Q1 to Q4), Earnings Per Share (EPS), Price-to-Earnings (P/E) ratio, and Reserve status before deploying hard-earned capital.
